  4. A tough one! They are tied at 2-2 H-to-H. But if Maria has the same drive we saw in New Haven, she will come through although it might be 3 sets. Davai Maria!

  5. I saw Maria play C.Scheepers couple of year ago at RG. Close match then which Maria won in 2 sets. Maria has improved her game a huge amount since then. She is in top form at present.

Maria played really well throughout and did not C.Scheepers into the match at any time. All her long-standings fans must be thrilled with her new higher level of performance.

    Missed opportunities great and it was your job concern how to strike heavy blows were very large mistakes .. How able player immersed to win you do not know

    I wish I played strongly in individual Pmarah as in the doubles match .. But I wish you success in doubles march

  25. Brave try by Maria but she lost in 3 sets. Tiredness caught up with her after her magnificent Olympics and New Haven final. Still in Dubs with Nadia, so there is still a chance of a title here

  27. A disappointing loss to AH. I watched the match live on UK TV. Maria played ok. Her opponent just played a little bit better. AH served really well such that Maria was unable to take advantage of the break points she earned.

    Outstanding! The match was on a Livestream. Maria had her Knee strapped but it sure did not stop her moving on court! Some of her amazing winners as well! Nadia’s serve was on song. They can win this title.

  33. Wowee! A unique win against the usually unbeatable Williams sisters. It was close at Wimbledon. The Olympics too. However beat them and you can beat anyone. Bet Maria feels great.
