« I’m really happy about winning today and beating yet another strong player. I feel like my tennis is in the best shape right now, maybe even for the season. I love playing at home and hope to keep doing well this week. » said Maria after her match.

In doubles, Maria and Nadia Petrova won in quartefirnal against Arina Rodionova (RUS) and Olga Savchuk (UKR). The score : 1-6, 7-5, 11-9 in one hour and 34 minutes. The semifinal will be against Alona Bondarenko (UKR) and Galina Voskoboeva (KAZ).
