Maria and the Romanian Sorana Cirstea won wednesday in quarterfinal of the doubles tournament of the Grand Prix de SAR La Princesse Lalla Meryem against Melinda Czink (HUN) and Anne Keothavong (GBR). The score : 6-1, 5-7, 10-7.

In the semifinal, Maria and Sorana will play against Polona Hercog (SLO) and Ioana Raluca Olaru (ROU).

Hello everybody !

I was in Barcelona for a week after I finished the tournament. I was practicing in Sanchez-Casal academy. I liked there a lot, the people was very nice with me and they gave me an opportunity to practice there. On saturday I arrived to Morocco. Fes is a middle of no where… haha

The club is nice, but it’s very cold here. Few days ago was nice weather. I heard about 25 degrees but i don’t know. This moment, it is rainy and foggy…

It is little bit an exotic place. I am actually for the first time in Morocco. It is difficult to say that I like it here, but it is different. I guess I will have my first match tomorrow on monday. I hope to hit some balls today and be ready for tomorrow.
