Hi everybody :)

Well I didn’t win the title today, but Venus was playing so well. I tried my best but after we both held serve for most of the third set she broke me, and I couldn’t break her back. But obviously it has been such a good week for me, reaching my second final in a row, and I’ve enjoyed the whole week. I had lots of fun in Seoul.

Hello again everyone!

Again I had a nice match today, beating Eleni Daniilidou in the semifinals. The first set was tough; in the end of it I think I got a little lucky, because she was serving at 5-6, 40-0, and I came up with some really nice returns, then she hit a double fault. I thought for sure it would be 6-6 but it turned around, so that was great. I played some of my best tennis in the second set. I even hit a left-handed winner! On one point she came into the net on my backhand and I just went for a crosscourt passing shot with it - it has worked sometimes in the past, and it is actually something I practice, particularly when running down drop shots. At the US Open, Srebotnik hit a drop shot to my backhand and I did the same one. I must say though, Daniilidou fought hard today. I’m happy with this victory.

Hey everyone!

Another good day - I won my quarterfinal against Castaño today, actually it was probably my quickest match of the week. For the first time I felt I had a great start, going up 5-0. She won three games in a row there but I won all the games after that. In my other matches I wasn’t starting so well, so I think I’m really starting to find my best tennis here. It’s funny, like I talked about yesterday, her coach was being really loud, especially when she was winning those games. I have a lot of people cheering for me here so it makes sense he was being really loud! I really appreciate all the fan support here actually, it’s just great :)
