Hello everybody !

All is well with me, and I am in New York already. Yesterday, I had a day off. Today, I going to practice. My first match is going to be on tuesday.

My back is feeling much better now. I had a lot of treatment on it the past few days, so I am happy about it ! I am looking forward to my first match ! I hope you will support me a lot during the US Open.

Hi everyone!

I’m writing to you from the USA, and I guess everyone know’s I’m here right now. I had two tournaments already in San Diego and Stanford last week. They both are nice tournaments and I had a really a good time.

I had some good matches in Stanford singles and doubles with Victoria. This was the second time we played together and we are going to play together again in Cincinnati.

While I was in San Diego, I was staying in unbelievable place. It was a House! I have a friends whose names are Sheri and her husband Bill. They have everything you need - 2 swimming pools, one tennis court etc. So it was an unbelievable week I spend over there. Plus I’ve got another title in doubles!

I played doubles for the first time with Zheng Jie, and it was a really good result. I hope we can play some more doubles together.

I’m in Cincinnati right now and I won today my first match. It was really difficult to play because of the weather here. It is so HOT and humid. But that’s for everybody the same. So I will try to get over it and fight!

Hi everyone !

I have been away from my home in Moscow for 3 months, and now at last I am home ! I can’t believe that I’m sleeping in my room in my bed ! When I woke up during the night, I couldn’t understand where I was ! You can’t believe how happy I am !

But I didn’t have a long sleep like I normally have after a trip, as I had to go very early to the UK Embassy to present some document for a Visa. I hope I will be able to play Wimbledon :-b

Regarding the clay season and the French Open : it was another good experience for me to play on clay. I beat one of the best players on clay. But I have still to learn a lot of things about how to play on clay, because there is always room for improvement !

Also, I was really enjoying playing doubles with my partner Agnieszka Radwanska. We have so much fun on court and off court! Also her sister Urszula was supporting us a lot ! They told me they were going to Disneyland on the last day, and they asked me to come with them, but I had a flight so it was not possible !

Now grass is coming up… So now I’m getting ready for it by lying on it, and getting tan on my body, ha ha
That’s the first step on how to be a good player on grass for me !

Hi everyone!

I am writing to you from Indian Wells. This year, it is quite cold here compared with last year, but much warmer than in Moscow !

Before I came here, I was at home and I had good time with my practice and some rest !

I went to the theatre and saw the classic « Uncle Vanya » : it is by Anton Chekhov. It was very interesting, and is about the life of one family. I am sure most Russian’s read it and I suggest they watch it as well !

Also I watched a couple of movies, one was « The love in Big city 2 », it is a Russian comedy. And « Avatar » ! About « Avatar », I don’t have any words, only wonderful feelings It is really nice one!

The day before I arrived in Indian Wells, I went to the dinner for the Davis Cup. As most of you know, Russia have beaten India ! So I went for the opening dinner and, as our captain said « The Russia team has advantage because we have four ATP players and one WTA player (he means it was me :-)) so, no chance we gonna lose ! » And I was in complete agreement with him ! Unfortunately I wasn’t at the matches because I had to fly to Indian Wells and prepare myself !

I’m really happy to be back to Indian Wells, as this is one of my favourite tournaments ! I have not had any good results here yet, but I really hope to play well this year !

Hello everybody !

As you know, I decided not to play in Pattaya to recover from my injuries from the Australian Open. I didn’t practice a lot for 10 days, and then I felt better. I got the Wild Card for Dubaï and so I decided to come and play. I tried to do my best but it was tough. I will take my time to be ready for Indian Wells and Miami.
